Scrawl: Rockland Teens Write

When I was in middle school I loved to write realistic fiction, using some experiences from my life as inspiration. I co-authored a piece with one of my friends, which we then entered into a publishing competition. As a seventh grader, I was the youngest author to enter the competition, which accepted literature from students grades 7 to 12. I was then interviewed by a local news outlet about my experience writing and getting published. You can read the interview here.

Being a part of my high school’s robotics team, it was only right for me to write an article about how my team prepares for the upcoming competition season. My article was handpicked from many other sports team articles written by my peers. You can read the article here.
